The first Train Unique floor outside Louisiana is taking shape in Southern California — Long Beach, palm trees, ocean air, and the exact same standard that built Lafayette and Baton Rouge.
What's coming
Train Unique California starts the way every Train Unique floor starts — one coach, one athlete, a session built around them. One-to-one personal training first, Fun Fit for the youngest athletes, and the rest added the way it was added here: when it's earned, not before.
It's led from inside the family — Jose Antonio Sosa, Train Unique California's managing operator, a father raising three daughters with disabilities and a certified trainer who spent years running IEP goals one-to-one in a special-needs classroom before any of this had a name. Everything Lafayette proved — the floor, the word athlete, the expectation instead of pity — is what's being built next to the Pacific.
Why it matters here
Families out west have been finding these floors from two thousand miles away for years — the videos, the stories, the athletes. Now the program is coming to them: the beach cities, the South Bay, Long Beach, and the families all over Southern California who've been told to wait long enough.
